An agent that drafts the docs work for you
Docsheaf Agent looks after the spaces you choose and drafts the fix as an ordinary change request — so a person reviews every word before it goes live.
Available today: drafts for content gaps (what readers searched for or asked about and didn’t find) and for links to moved pages, on the Business plan and above. Coming later: noticing when pages drift from your product, from Git pushes and releases.
What it does
Learn from gaps
Takes the searches and Ask AI questions that found nothing and drafts a page from what your docs already say — or says it can’t, so you write it.
Draft change requests
Every proposal is an ordinary change request with a diff, an explanation and the pages it used.
Fix moved links
Points links at where renamed or moved pages are now, instead of relying on redirects.
Notice drift
Flag pages that fall out of step with your product, from Git pushes and releases.
Humans stay in charge
The agent works inside the same review workflow your team already uses.
Every draft is reviewed
The space’s creators and admins are asked to review, and merge rules apply — including required approvals. The agent never merges.
Learn moreEvery action is recorded
What the agent drafted shows up in the organization audit log as the Docsheaf Agent, with a monthly limit on drafts you set.

Everything the agent does is also in the REST API. Open a change request and import Markdown into it from a script or CI job.

How do I turn it on?
In Organization settings → Agent: choose the spaces, the jobs, how often it runs and how many change requests it may draft a month. It’s on the Business plan and above.
Will the agent publish changes on its own?
No. It opens change requests, which follow your space’s merge rules like any other edit, and it never merges.
Does it make things up?
It drafts pages only from excerpts of your existing pages and lists them in the change request; when they don’t cover a topic, it drafts nothing. Still, check every statement before merging. Drafting uses Anthropic’s Claude; link fixes use no AI.
Can I build something similar now?
Yes. The REST API can create change requests, import Markdown, update documents and request reviews, so a script or CI job can propose doc updates today.

Change requests and merge rules are what the agent builds on — your team decides what ships.
